HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL VALUE
For over 20 years, Catherine and Patrick have strived to develop agricultural practices more respectful of the environment and have today committed themselves to a process of high environmental value (HVE) which, much like the organic label, is an accreditation that recognises environmental preservation.
This accreditation, with results-based obligations in terms of biodiversity, vine protection, fertilisation and protecting water resources, fully complies with the objectives of the Grenelle Environment Forum.
This ethos allows us to peacefully practice our winemaking craft by producing healthy and authentic wines, which express the aromatic purity of the vine and unearths the terroir’s spirit.
All our wines also enjoy the benefits of being an AOC (registered designation of origin) and respects the Independent Wine-Maker’s Charter.
The development of our exceptional Alsatian wines has been conducted by experienced associates and the help of our seasonal workers. It is their efforts that contribute to the healthy development of the vine, the grapes and the wine.
We feel that it is especially important that we invest in our trainees and apprentices, that we hire after they have finished their schooling.
